Exhibition of drawing and paintings by Amar Ben Belgacem, Tunisia
Amar was born on June 18 1979, in Paris of Tunisian parents. In 1984,
his parents decided to send him to school in Tunisia where he stayed
until the age of 19. Amar's paintings celebrate light and colour from
his native Tunisia, from the nearby desert. His works have been exhibited
in public and private collections in more than twenty different cities all
over the world (Cairo, Tokyo, Paris, Rome, Lisbon and New York…).
Welcome to the Vernissage of AMAR's Exhibition on Sunday 11th. April
at 01.30 pm. under the high patronage of the Embassy of Tunisia. Tunisian
food and wines will be served. The artist will be present for the vernissage!
Venue: Center for African Culture, Pilestredet 75C
nearby Fagerborg Church (Bislet Stadium).
NB ! The exhibition will last until Sunday 18 April from 12 to 5 pm.
